About Montgomery County Medical Society Alliance

 The Montgomery County Medical Society Alliance is a volunteer organization of physicians’ spouses and physicians which promotes the health of the community through education and philanthropic activities. The purposes of the Alliance are:

v     To support health related charitable endeavors through projects and by encouraging volunteer participation in activities which meet health needs;

v     To assist in those programs of the Montgomery County Medical Society that improve the health and quality of life through health education and services; and

v     To uphold the programs of the Ohio State Medical Association Alliance.

The MCMSA Foundation deals with the charitable activities of the Alliance by providing scholarships to students in health-related career programs and by funding community health promotion programs. The Foundation has provided monies to students for medical, nursing and allied health training in addition to donations to the Emergency Food Bank, the Reach Out program, the Battered Women’s Shelter and the RAYS project.
